There is a medical doctor available for both casualty services and routine medical consultations from Mon-Friday 09H00 - 17H00 and every second Saturday 09H00 - 13H00. Outside of these hours, the doctor will provide telephonic backup for remainder of the centre's business hours. The casualty service is equipped to manage any medical incident from relieving a headache to stabilising a patient with a life-threatening condition. This service is fully supported by paramedics and the 24-hour Emergency Unit at Mediclinic Cape Town.
